Boat Bottom Coating – Chain O’Lakes Area

Boat Bottom Coating and Boat Bottom Painting

The future of boat bottom coating.

Zyrex Bottom Coating

We are the leading Chain O’ Lakes boat bottom coating and painting shop. We have been green for over 17 years. We have been promoting an epoxy bottom coating that is environmentally friendly. The two part bottom coating we use will last at least 5 years guaranteed.

Most of our customers who have used it have not re-coated the bottom for up to 10 years. The cost of using this product drastically reduces your expenses in the long run. Zyrex lasts up to 10 years or more where bottom painting needs to be applied every 1-2 years.

It is an environmentally friendly product unlike bottom paints. Bottom paints flake off and are harmful to the marine environment. Particles are dispersed in the atmosphere every time it is sanded for reapplication. This two part epoxy totally encapsulates the bottom of your boat to protect it from bottom blistering. This product is also self cleaning with use which saves the expense of bottom washing at the end of the season.

Bottom washing is becoming more and more expensive in addition to the effects caused to the environment. The EPA has become more interested in the effect of bottom washing to our environment in recent years.

The EPA is starting to regulate the marinas on where and how they can bottom wash your boat. Eventually the marinas will have to raise the prices of bottom washes to meet the expenses of making the EPA happy.

With this product not only do you save in the long run you also help your water ways.
